Vol 2 Issue 0 : Restarting the newsletter
Yes. Instead of sending the 1st Anniversary email, I took a break from sending the newsletter. And yes, I did not send a newsletter telling you, I am taking a break. The intention was to take a short break and restart from Jan 2022. (Also wanted to move newsletter days to 2nd and 4th Saturday, instead of 1st and 16th). But, I wanted to use this pause as a reality check on the purpose of this newsletter.
In the last year, I started using writing as a way of thinking rather than communication. My approach towards writing changed as I started building my personal knowledge system. The writing format changed to bulleted notes, notes became atomic and linked. I also started using outline format for work logs, which is a quick way of information holding. (Thanks to Logseq and RemNote)
Looking back at the old issues of T&T, I find the over-hyperlinked format sophisticated for no particular reason. 70% of the links were to validate the claim or provide context. And that’s unwanted. Also, while I claimed it to be bi-lingual, I force-translated most of it to English assuming that it would be helpful. I will be removing those constructs.
From this volume, T&T will be an extension of my 'writing in public / open garage of knowledge'. The content, format, context, and language will be more fluid. Let's see how it goes!
