Issue 16: Ongoing list of this and that

It’s been two weeks of traveling, working, and meeting family; hence not many discoveries to share, but here are a few from my current ‘ongoing’ list. (#തട്ടിക്കൂട്ട്)

NON FICTION: Nir Eyal’s¹ Indistractable² is what I am currently skimming, a book similar to Deep work³, with more focus on achieving attention. Marty Neumeier’s Brand Flip⁴, Cliff Kuang’s User Friendly⁵, Wild Swans⁶ by Jung Chang are the other books I have read recently.

FICTION: I listened to CV’s Classic Dharmaraja and few Indugopan books, thanks to Storytel⁷ for the new ‘Select’ option for ₹599 for six months offer. Audible is on pause, as I couldn’t finish the last book I chose.

STOCK: To be a disciplined stock investor, I am trying to learn the fundamentals from Varsity⁸, Freefincal⁹, FundFolio¹⁰ (Malayalam), and P R Sundar¹¹; and it’s taking more time than I anticipated!

SERIES: Rewatching partially completed Game of Thrones¹², along with random episodes of The Office¹³. Lupin Season 2¹⁴, Mare of Easttown,¹⁵ NewsRoom on my watchlist.

MOVIES: Operation Java (Zee5¹⁶), Nayattu was an excellent watch, while Nizhal was disappointing. No mention about spending significant time spending Radhe¹⁷! Karnan still on my watchlist.

TOOLS: Tried Figjam¹⁸ for an office brainstorming session, Tested Coda¹⁹ for knowledge management, and got beta access to Brave Search — All super impressive!
