Issue 21: Digital Garden Theme, Videos and this and that
WEB: Tada! After spending some of my free time, I created a Jekyll theme1 for my website2 and working notes3. Asim4 helped me with coding, and I simplified my Obsidian workflow5. Do check the theme demo6, and let me know how!
NOTE-TAKING: While learning Jekyll and looking for theme inspirations, I stumbled upon few sound note-taking systems. There is Logseq7, an open-source alternative to roam8, and foam9, a set of extensions that makes your VSCode10 a roam-alternative.
BOOKS: Malayalam literary critic P. K. Rajasekharan started a clubhouse11 to discuss books, and the archive is shared on his Youtube12 and as a podcast13. It’s a pure gem. Do listen. Start with Ep3 - Dharmapuranam14 if you have read the book.
VIDEOS: I started following two Youtube channels. A math+entertainment channel called 3Blue1Brown15, and Freya Holmér’s channel has beautiful explanations, like this one16.
TAIWAN: Read The New York Times article17 on Taiwan & China situation.
TWEET-OF-THE-MONTH: “Some Product Managers (PMs) lack a nuanced understanding of Product Design disciplines. They provide direction & feedback to Product Designers in tiring and limiting ways, and fail to build an effective relationship with Product Designers.” Read More18. Bonus: This GIF19.
